With a baby on the way and the challenges brought by his new role as Superintendent, Lucio Vella struggles to keep everything together.

Things start to get complex when a man from his childhood village dies, leaving behind a cryptic clue which unsettles Lucio even more. The more he tries to put the pieces back together, the more distorted his memories become.
